Lorimer is a sleeping baby, poured in super-soft silicone, is around 19" which is perfect size for fitting 'newborn' size clothing, and weighs 7 lb 12 oz.
Lorimer is available as either a girl of a boy.
We can insert soft metal armatures into your baby at an additional cost of £200 - if you would like armatures please let us know by email soon after ordering.
Lorimer is sculpted, moulded, poured, painted and rooted by Carolyn Doughty. You can choose the colour of hair. She is poured in our soft blend 'mallow' silicone which is the highest quality blend of prosthetic grade silicone.
If you order a Lorimer baby, when you pay your deposit you select a slot for when the baby will be ready. This will be a good few months away because we do plan ahead and have babies to complete each month. So between now and the time your baby will be ready, you can pay off your baby by making a payment every month. This is normally for around 10 months, so I will send you a paypal invoice monthly from the date you start paying.
For example, if in January 2024 you book the slot for the baby in January 2025, you pay 1/10th payment (£220) plus shipping immediately as a deposit to secure your slot, and then in May 2024 you start making the remainder 9 monthly payments of £220 per month, the last payment is made in January 2025 and we aim to get baby home to you in January 2025.
Lorimer comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a small box opening.
Your baby's mouth will normally be opened to take a modified dummy/pacifier and a modified dummy/pacifier will be supplied with your baby, if you would like more you can purchase these for £10 each.
Your baby will be shipped via DHL which means very fast delivery. Please note we are based in the UK, if you are buying from overseas you will probably be charged customs fees or taxes depending on your country's customs fees, please check this yourself if you are unsure. These custom fees could be as much at 30% of the value of the baby, so please be make sure you set aside a sum to pay this.

(There are silicone artists who do buy babies from us to custom paint for customers, and occasionally customers do sell on babies from collector to collector, but if in any doubt please do email us to check.)
