Partial silicone kits for you to pick 'n' mix your baby parts to make your perfect partial silicone baby blank kit to paint and finish.
Each silicone piece (head, or limbs) has a plastic ring already installed to make positioning easier.
Heads are poured in Ecoflex 20 and limbs are poured in soft silicone, but the flanges for all the pieces are poured in a very hard silicone so that the piece will fit securely inside the body.
Choose your baby head which can be made into a cuddle baby or partial silicone.
Choose a set of limbs suitable for that size of baby (for each baby size there will be a choice of full limb, 3/4 limb, and quarter limb).
Choose a body to match the head and limbs.
Buy your stuffing for the baby - we suggest a babyfat and polyfibre mix.
OR just choose a head or set of limbs, or a body, you don't need to make up a whole baby.

This is a silicone head, poured in ecoflex 20 with a hard silicone flange to make fitting easier.
Our blank cuddle baby heads are usually poured to order, and pour time is up to 2 weeks.
Sculpted, moulded and poured by Carolyn Doughty, the head has been thoroughly cleaned of mould agents so there is no need to wash, and are lightly dusted with silicone velvet powder for transport so is peachy soft and can be painted directly onto the surface.
This head comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Your blank head will be shipped via DHL which means very fast and safe delivery. Please note we are based in the UK, if you are buying from overseas you MAY be charged customs fees or taxes depending on your country's customs fees, please check this yourself if you are unsure.

Silicone Kits – What to Expect
Working with silicone is a wonderful and rewarding art form, but it is quite different from working with factory-produced vinyl kits. If you are new to silicone, the following information may help you understand what to expect when purchasing a blank silicone kit.
Handmade Artist Pieces
All silicone kits sold through Carolyn Doughty Dolls are individually hand-cast and hand-finished using traditional moulding and casting methods. Unlike vinyl kits, which are produced in large factories using automated processes, silicone blanks are created by hand in small batches.
Because of this, each kit is unique and small variations are a natural part of the handmade process.
Surface Variations
Occasionally you may notice small seam lines, faint surface variations, or minor finishing marks. These are normal in handmade silicone casting and are not considered defects.
Many silicone artists will lightly refine these areas during the painting process if required.
Ready-to-Paint Preparation
Kits are carefully checked and prepared before dispatch and are supplied as ready-to-paint blanks. However, silicone kits should not be expected to have the machine-perfect finish associated with factory-produced vinyl dolls.
Part of the artistry of working with silicone often includes light preparation and finishing by the artist prior to painting.
Sculpting Style
Each sculpt is created by an individual artist, and sculpting styles can vary widely. Some sculpts are highly detailed and refined, while others have a softer or more stylised appearance.
This artistic variation is part of what makes silicone dolls unique and collectible.
Experience Level
Silicone kits are intended for artists who are comfortable working with silicone materials. If you are new to silicone painting, please take time to familiarise yourself with the medium, as it behaves very differently from vinyl.
